On Tuesday, Katsina State stakeholders gathered to discuss the Draft National Digital Economy & e-Governance Bill.
The workshop, held at the Directorate of Information and Communication Technology Complex, focused on fostering digital growth through enhanced transaction certainty and digital governance.

Naufal Ahmad, Director General of Katsina ICT, noted that closing infrastructure gaps is crucial to achieving digital transformation.

He highlighted efforts by the state government to attract investment for ICT development, aiming to provide each local government area with internet access points.
Vice Chairperson of the Nigeria Computing Society, Katsina Branch, Hajiya Zainab Lawal Sani, emphasized the workshop’s timely focus on issues like server security, cryptocurrency, and fraud prevention, hoping that ICT will extend to rural areas soon.
