The Katsina State Government is set to kick off the second phase of the Danja Dam project, focusing on boosting irrigation to elevate agricultural productivity.
Governor Dikko Radda, who also heads the North West Governors’ Forum, noted the region’s abundant arable land as ideal for enhancing irrigation farming.

During an empowerment event in Katsina, Radda reiterated his administration’s dedication to agriculture and food security, with irrigation farming marked as a top priority.
Radda’s media aide, Isah Migdad, conveyed that the project will support farming communities, enhance productivity, and contribute to food security and job creation across the state.
