During the State Executive Committee Meeting of the All Progressives Congress (APC) at the Umaru Musa Yar’adua Hall, Murtala Square Kaduna on Saturday, Governor Uba Sani highlighted the achievements of his administration over the past year and laid out future initiatives.
Governor Sani emphasized agriculture as a critical sector for Kaduna State, noting that it contributes approximately 42.8% to the state’s GDP. He announced plans to distribute 12,000 metric tonnes of fertilizer to farmers at no cost within the next three weeks. This initiative, valued at over N10 billion and involving around 500 trucks, aims to alleviate poverty and boost agricultural productivity.
Reflecting on his administration’s focus on rural revitalization, Sani reported significant progress in infrastructure development, including the groundbreaking of 57 roads, many of which have been completed. He also highlighted ongoing efforts to reconstruct and equip nine secondary healthcare facilities.

Sani stressed the importance of governance over politics, committing to equitable development across all areas of Kaduna State. He praised the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Dr. Tajudeen Abbas, for his unprecedented contributions and urged him to extend similar developmental efforts to other local governments within the state.
In response, Speaker Abbas lauded Governor Sani’s accomplishments, expressing confidence in the continued success and impact of his administration over the next three years. He encouraged unity within the APC to further the state’s progress.
