Jiji, an online marketplace, and the Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency of Nigeria (SMEDAN) plan to work together to promote small enterprises in their efforts to flourish in spite of the current economic situation.
According to Jiji, the partnership aims to further empower businesses by giving them access to helpful tools and support. This goal has become a focus for Jiji as the company is aware of how important it is to support small and medium-sized businesses.
Compared to May 2023, when it was 22.41 percent, the headline inflation rate increased to 22.79 percent in June 2023. Looking at the trend, the headline inflation rate for June 2023 increased by 0.38 percentage points from the headline inflation rate for May 2023.

According to the platform, “our distinctive features and commitment to fostering direct connections between businesses and customers, is the force behind empowering entrepreneurs to maximize their resources, grow their businesses, and increase sales.”
The company added that by eliminating middlemen from its supply chain, business owners are now in complete control of their sales process and can establish trust with their clientele.
“Even in the difficult economic environment marked by rising inflation, we want to stand as an advocate for small businesses by removing commissions, encouraging direct relationships, providing promotional opportunities that are reasonably priced, and providing entrepreneurs with the tools they need to succeed,” the statement said.
