The Indonesian Ministry of Trade is aiming to boost micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) exports to 33 countries, setting a target of $18.84 billion (Rp306.52 trillion) in 2025, marking a 12.54% increase from the previous year.
Deputy Minister of Trade, Dyah Roro Esti, announced on February 24 that the ministry has partnered with the Ministry of State-Owned Enterprises (SOEs) through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to support export-ready MSMEs.

The three-year collaboration focuses on:
✅ Strengthening domestic supply chains for export readiness.
✅ Enhancing MSME competitiveness through skill development.
✅ Providing financing schemes for export capital.
✅ Implementing other supportive initiatives for export growth.
With 33 trade offices abroad, the Ministry of Trade aims to identify market opportunities and facilitate international expansion for MSMEs.
“This partnership is expected to drive innovation and long-term benefits for all stakeholders,” said Secretary General Isy Karim, emphasizing the commitment to executing the MoU.
