At a business event in Tokyo, India highlighted new opportunities for Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) within its expanding partnership with Japan.
The event, graced by Japanese Prime Minister Ishiba, underlined the priority both nations place on strengthening bilateral economic ties.

Speaking at the gathering, India emphasized replicating past successes in the automobile sector across new growth areas such as batteries, robotics, semiconductors, shipbuilding, nuclear energy, and green energy.
The discussions also spotlighted opportunities in next-gen infrastructure, skill development, and tech–talent exchange, where SMEs on both sides can play a pivotal role in driving innovation, sustainability, and stronger people-to-people connections.
