According to the governor of Abia State, Dr. Alex Otti, Aba has become a hub for business innovation, real estate development, urban revitalization, and job creation because to his administration’s Business Digitalization project.
In a statement delivered on Abia Day at the 18th Abuja International Trade Fair, he made this claim.
Dr. Otti said the technologically driven businesses that the government had started for both small and large business owners had greater impacts on all sectors, ranging from education to transportation and economy, and had greatly contributed to the state’s Gross Domestic Product. He was represented by the State Commissioner for Art and Culture, Mr. Oke Kanu.
“Throughout key areas of Aba, we are reclaiming roads that had been neglected for decades, de-silting drainages, and greatly simplifying vehicular processes within the city.” Gov. Otti gave an explanation.

The governor of Abia State further stated that the state was engaged in a number of initiatives that would help Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises MSMEs small holdings Farmers and recognized Cooperative with the goal of enhancing possibilities for State Residents.
He praised the state’s involvement in the Trade Fair, which aims to show off Aba ingenuity to both domestic and international businesses.
Dr. Chimezie Ukaegbu, the state commissioner for trade, commerce, and industry, said that the Abia State government was committed to fostering a climate that was more welcoming to investment. As a result, he claimed, an industrial and innovation park in Owaza was recently established and inaugurated.
Eyinaya Abaribe, a senator from Abia South Senatorial District, underlined the necessity for the State government to empower artisans in the State in order to be able to meet the demands of the vast Market.
