The Federal Government has announced that disbursement of grants under the Youth Empowerment and Innovation Development Programme (YEIDEP) will begin in July 2025, offering a major boost to millions of young Nigerian entrepreneurs.
The program, which has recorded over 4.6 million applications, will provide non-repayable grants ranging from ₦50,000 to ₦500,000 to support youth-led businesses across key sectors such as agriculture, ICT, fashion, retail, and vocational trades.
Spearheaded by the Federal Ministry of Youth Development in collaboration with the Youths Off The Street Initiative (YOTSI), YEIDEP aims to drive job creation, grassroots entrepreneurship, and economic inclusion among young Nigerians.
