Akwa Ibom State Governor, Pastor Umo Eno, has urged the Revenue Mobilisation Allocation and Fiscal Commission (RMAFC) to do more in resolving conflicting oil revenue remittances, especially as it affects the 13% derivation fund to oil-producing states.
Speaking during a fiscal retreat, Eno described the commission as strategic to Nigeria’s federal structure and economic balance.

He emphasized that improving oil revenue sharing will empower state governments to better support small businesses and grassroots development.
He noted that while some progress has been made, there’s still room for improvement to ensure that funds meant for development reach the communities that need them most.
