Governor Ademola Adeleke has announced plans to incorporate cutting-edge livestock technologies to transform Osun State’s dairy and livestock sub-sectors. This was disclosed after his visit to a prominent dairy farm in Northern France and participation in the world’s largest livestock summit in Clermont Ferrand, France.
Adeleke lauded the French livestock sector’s strides in integrating Artificial Intelligence and high-tech solutions, describing them as groundbreaking. He emphasized that the state government is keen on localizing these innovations to enhance agricultural productivity in Osun.
“Our presence here reaffirms our commitment to agro-industrialization. We have observed the significant role of technology in boosting farm efficiency and are ready to establish similar systems in Osun,” said the governor.

Accompanied by the Commissioner for Agriculture, Tola Faseru, Adeleke engaged with French stakeholders to explore potential partnerships aimed at introducing advanced practices into Osun’s agricultural framework.
“We will leverage the Federal Government’s new livestock policy in driving our initiatives to modernize the sector. Osun is on a mission to rapidly transform its agricultural landscape,” Adeleke added.
This move underscores the governor’s determination to accelerate the state’s growth through innovative approaches in agriculture.
