Glovo NG. has developed an innovative feature called ‘Glovo Ads,’ which is intended to help brands, restaurants, and shops accelerate their growth and sell themselves directly to users in-app. This was disclosed at its annual Partners and Brands event in Lagos, which celebrated the importance of collaboration in improving Nigeria’s E-commerce business.
Glovo Ads has been developed in order to provide partners with the tools they require to run campaigns across the advertising chain and help small businesses and restaurants drive sales in their local area, according to Lorenzo Mayol, Brands Ads director for Africa and outgoing general manager for Glovo NG.
According to Mayol, both huge international businesses and tiny independent shops can benefit from Glovo’s specialized services via brand marketing and partner ads.
“Glovo Ads will also provide off-app services, enabling both brands and smaller retailers to reach users through programmatic buying, all through Glovo’s self-service model,” he stated. “Brands can also see in real-time how their campaigns are performing, allowing them to adjust their spending to target consumers appropriately both on and off the app.”
Mayol added, “With millions of subscribers regularly buying an extensive variety of products thanks to our multi-category, providing beyond just takeaway and grocery shopping, we can help these businesses build brand awareness and grow sales at a time when reaching customers effectively is becoming significantly more difficult.”
Lamide Akinola, Glovo Nigeria’s newly hired general manager, reported a 350% year-on-year growth rate due to the platform’s commitment to affordability and client happiness. Glovo’s commitment to creating a smooth experience and developing its network of partners and businesses to contribute to local and pan-African growth was emphasized by Akinola.
Glovo recognized outstanding performances and handed awards to worthy partners and sales professionals throughout the event. These awards recognized achievement in a variety of areas, emphasizing amazing accomplishments and the unwavering pursuit of providing exceptional services.
