150 Nigerian entrepreneurs will be given support during the 2024 Global Entrepreneurship Congress (GEC) Africa in Cape Town, South Africa, according to GEN Nigeria, a committed group working to foster future visionary leaders in Nigeria. A recent GEC+Africa Lead Up event with the theme “Connecting Africa: Strides in the Nigeria Entrepreneurship Ecosystem” was held in Lagos, Nigeria, and this news was made during the event.

Olukayode Pitan, the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the Bank of Industry, gave the keynote address on the occasion. Mr. Obaru Osah attended the occasion as a representative of Pitan. Providus Bank, the Bank of Industry, senior executives from GEC+Africa, and other Nigerian businesspeople were among the attendees.

In addition to the 150 Nigerian businesspeople expected at the GEC Africa event in March 2024, 15 businesspeople from different African delegations will have the chance to present for a $100,000 seed fund.

The managing director of GEN Nigeria, Dr. Olawale Anifowose, stressed the importance of the GEC+Africa Lead-Up Event as a dynamic forum for showcasing successful components of entrepreneurial ecosystems all around the African continent. The occasion intends to promote teamwork, knowledge exchange, and networking opportunities to help African entrepreneurs succeed more.

GEN Nigeria actively contributes to presenting 150 Nigerian entrepreneurs with international prospects as strategic partners for GEC+Africa 2024. This occasion in Nigeria marks the beginning of a big journey aimed at improving and empowering the entrepreneurial environment in the nation.
