Nigeria’s Minister of Trade and Investment, Dr. Jumoke Oduwole, has praised the G.R.O.W. Nigeria strategy—an initiative by the Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency of Nigeria (SMEDAN) aimed at supporting MSMEs with Guidance, Resources, Opportunities, and Workforce support.
During a visit to SMEDAN’s headquarters in Abuja, Dr. Oduwole toured several Common Facility Centres established by the agency. These centres, focused on garment manufacturing, furniture production, recycling, and food packaging, are designed to boost local manufacturing capacity and business growth.
She noted that the strategy aligns perfectly with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Nigeria-First Policy, reinforcing the push for increased local production, job creation, and competitiveness in the MSME sector.

In his remarks, SMEDAN Director-General Charles Odii emphasized the agency’s dedication to fostering business-friendly environments through partnerships, support services, and the rollout of sustainable industrial clusters nationwide.
