Can you tell us about your journey as an entrepreneur, from your humble beginnings to building a successful business empire?
Absolutely. My journey began with humble beginnings, where I started by hawking in the machine market. It was a challenging time, and I often felt like success was a distant dream. However, I held onto the belief that better days were ahead, and that belief fueled my determination. Through perseverance and hard work, I gradually attracted customers, both locally and internationally, which laid the foundation for what would eventually become my business empire.

What were some of the challenges you faced along the way, and how did you overcome them?
Oh, there were numerous challenges along the way. Sourcing funds was always a struggle, especially with fluctuating chemical prices. Additionally, the unreliable power supply in Nigeria posed a significant obstacle to production.
To overcome these challenges, I adopted a resourceful approach. I used the payments from customers to finance production, and I constantly sought innovative solutions to power shortages, such as carrying a jerry can of fuel with me to ensure uninterrupted operations.
How do you view competition in your industry, and what sets your products apart from others?
Competition in the industry is inevitable, but I don’t see fellow entrepreneurs as rivals; instead, I view them as companions on the journey. In fact, I even share formulas with them because I believe that collaboration benefits us all. What sets my products apart is their quality and authenticity.
I prioritize using natural ingredients and conducting thorough research before bringing products to market. This commitment to authenticity ensures that my customers trust and remain loyal to my brand.

When it comes to product development, I take a meticulous approach. I prioritize using natural ingredients and conducting extensive research before introducing any product to the market.

I am incredibly optimistic about the future of my business and Nigerian entrepreneurship as a whole. I believe that Nigerian products have the potential to thrive globally with the right support and encouragement.
My aspiration is to contribute to Nigeria’s economic growth by fostering a supportive ecosystem for local entrepreneurs. By doing so, I hope to see Nigerian entrepreneurship shine on the world stage.
