Senator Oluremi Tinubu has launched a major initiative to support small businesses across Nigeria.
At the August Meeting in Enugu, Tinubu, represented by Hajiya Nana Shettima, announced plans to provide N50,000 each to 37,000 petty traders nationwide through the Renewed Hope Initiative Women Economic Empowerment program.
This program will benefit 1,000 petty traders in every state and the Federal Capital Territory, aiming to alleviate economic difficulties and spur growth in local businesses.
Tinubu highlighted that the initiative includes additional support such as ICT training for digital skills, agricultural aid, and scholarships for education.

The August Meeting, organized by Mrs. Nkechinyere Mbah, emphasized the event’s role in empowering women and fostering community development.
Mbah also announced that the Custos Care Foundation would offer further assistance to women in Enugu State, focusing on enhancing their economic prospects and addressing critical issues like maternal and child mortality.
This comprehensive support aims to drive economic growth by strengthening small businesses and empowering women across the nation.
