Dr. Olufemi Oke-Osanyintolu, LASEMA’s Permanent Secretary, noted that emergency responders, alongside the Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service, worked diligently to prevent the fire from spreading to nearby buildings. They faced challenges managing a large and concerned crowd while combating the blaze.
Thanks to their swift actions, the fire was ultimately extinguished, and operations were concluded without further incident. The agency is continuing to investigate the cause of the fire and assess the full extent of the damage.
