The Federal Government has generated over 240,000 direct jobs by empowering Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) through targeted reforms and initiatives.

Sunday Dare, Special Adviser to the President on Public Communications, announced the milestone via the “Tinubu Reforms Tracker” (TRT) on X (formerly Twitter), showcasing achievements under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration.

Key interventions include a ₦50 billion Discounted Credit Facility implemented by Access Bank, enabling MSMEs to expand, and a ₦75 billion Single-Digit MSME Loan Scheme by the Bank of Industry to boost business capital. During National MSME Clinics, grants of ₦150,000 each were awarded to three outstanding MSMEs, alongside cars and houses presented at the 2024 MSME Awards.

Dare affirmed Tinubu’s commitment to sustaining these reforms, with a Single-Digit Credit Facility slated for 2025, ensuring more affordable financing for MSMEs. The TRT serves as a monitoring platform for reforms impacting 13 key sectors.

These efforts underscore the administration’s drive toward job creation and economic diversification.
