The Tinubu Administration has launched the 3 Million Technical Talent (3MTT) Programme to tackle Nigeria’s youth unemployment crisis.
Announced by Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris, at the Nigeria Police Youth Summit in Abuja on August 12, the initiative aims to create three million jobs.
Represented by Mallam Jibrin Baba Ndace, Director General of Voice of Nigeria, Idris emphasized the programme’s role in enhancing national information intelligence by equipping young Nigerians with essential technical skills.

He affirmed that the 3MTT Programme is a key component of President Tinubu’s vision to integrate youth development into national progress.
The programme is part of the broader “Renewed Hope Agenda,” which also includes the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFund) to support students financially.
Additionally, Idris highlighted the President’s new Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) policy, expected to reduce fuel costs by up to 70% by utilizing Nigeria’s natural gas resources.
