Mr. Abiodun Yinusa, Special Assistant to the President on Agriculture, unveiled a new agricultural initiative in Abuja on Tuesday, represented by Mr. Hakeem Olugbode.
The project, a presidential drive, aims to equip young farmers with the necessary tools and knowledge to contribute effectively to Nigeria’s agricultural sector.
This initiative, designed to attract, train, and support youth in agriculture, reflects President Bola Tinubu’s dedication to revitalizing the sector. According to Yinusa, President Tinubu is committed to leveraging agriculture as a key driver for economic growth, addressing unemployment, hunger, and poverty.
He emphasized the administration’s goal to create job opportunities, ensure food security, and eradicate poverty through agricultural development.
“President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda for agriculture is focused on transformative support for farmers and communities to fully revive Nigeria’s agriculture,” Yinusa noted.
