The Nigerian Association of Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines, and Agriculture (NACCIMA) and the Nigeria Türkiye Business Council (NTBC) have committed to strengthening economic and security ties between Nigeria and Turkey.
This resolution was made during the inauguration of the Independent Industrialists and Businessmen Association (MUSIAD) in Nigeria, held at the Türkiye Embassy in Abuja.
In a statement issued in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, on Saturday, Dr. Ifeanyi Onukwubiri, Chief Executive Officer of TMT Travels and Tours Limited, disclosed that NACCIMA and NTBC agreed to invest in key sectors such as agriculture, security, tourism, and education to enhance the economies of both countries.

Dr. Onukwubiri noted, “The launch of MUSIAD Nigeria at the Türkiye Embassy was attended by NACCIMA’s National President and NTBC Chairman, Dele Kelvin Oye Esq., along with NTBC members including myself and Mr. Buchi Francis Eche, Managing Director of Dreamland Global Synergy Limited. The event also saw the participation of the Türkiye Ambassador to Nigeria, Amb. Hidayat Bayraktar, and members of both nations’ business communities.”
He further emphasized, “We understand the vital roles education, tourism, agriculture, and security play in international trade and investment. NTBC and NACCIMA are fully committed to strengthening these sectors to promote lasting bilateral cooperation between Nigeria and Turkey.”
