The Federal Government, through the Ministry of Industry, Trade, and Investment, is establishing a multi-level stakeholders’ steering committee and workgroup to tackle bottlenecks hindering industrial and SME growth in Nigeria.
Minister of State for Industry, Trade, and Investment, John Enoh, announced this initiative during an interactive session in Lagos with industry stakeholders and the organised private sector.
Enoh revealed that the committee, co-chaired by himself and the Manufacturing Association of Nigeria (MAN) president, Francis Meshioye, will identify challenges in the sector and propose actionable solutions. The group will include key sector players and meet quarterly.
