The Federal Government has reiterated its commitment to advancing sustainable agriculture through tailored incentives aimed at attracting private investment and fostering economic stability.
Minister of Agriculture, Abubakar Kyari, highlighted these incentives at the third Agribusiness Roundtable Conference held in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State.
Kyari emphasized that policies like tax holidays and exemptions are designed to create a favorable environment for domestic and international agribusiness investment.
He underscored the shift toward viewing agriculture as a business rather than solely a development program, focusing on value chain improvements that leverage Nigeria’s competitive advantages.
