The Federal Government and Nokia Solutions and Networks Nigeria have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to upskill young Nigerians in the latest 4G and 5G radio and transmission technologies.
The partnership aims to equip Nigerians with the skills needed to thrive in the rapidly evolving telecommunications industry.
Top executives from Nokia Nigeria, the Minister of Communications, Innovation, and Digital Economy, and the Executive Vice Chairman of the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) signed the MoU.

Nokia Nigeria will establish a fully functional 5G/4G test facility within the commission’s Digital Parks, and an Entrepreneur Learning Program to provide vocational training for 200 Nigerian students.
This collaboration demonstrates the federal government’s commitment to expanding the nation’s digital economy and fostering innovation in the telecommunications sector.
