The Federal Government has allocated 20 trucks of rice to the 36 state governors and the Federal Capital Territory for distribution to the most vulnerable citizens.
Following the Federal Executive Council meeting on Monday, Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris, announced the donation while addressing State House Reporters.
He emphasized that the initiative aims to ensure that food reaches the tables of struggling Nigerians.

Minister Idris highlighted the Tinubu administration’s commitment to addressing the hardships caused by rising inflation, which has led to widespread complaints from the public.
