President Bola Tinubu has approved new boards for the National Agricultural Development Fund (NADF), the Bank of Agriculture (BOA), and the Universal Basic Education Commission (UBEC), strengthening government efforts to expand funding for farmers, agripreneurs, and the basic education system.
According to a statement by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, Senator Umaru Tanko Al-Makura retains his role as chairman of the UBEC board, with members drawn from all six geopolitical zones for a four-year term.

For the BOA, Tinubu appointed three executive directors—Fatima Garba (Corporate Services), Ka’amuna Ibrahim Khadi (Risk Management & Strategy), and Hakeem Oluwatosin Salami (Operations)—along with five non-executive directors representing each zone.
