The Enugu State Government, under Governor Peter Mbah, has signed a $100 million agreement with Austrian company WANDE NEXUS.
This partnership aims to implement the Last Mile Connectivity and Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) Project to improve water access across the state.
The signing, held at the State House, showcases a successful collaboration between Enugu State and an international firm, emphasizing its investment-friendly environment.

“This substantial investment will address the downstream part of our water system, ensuring businesses and households have access to clean water,” Mbah noted.
WANDE NEXUS representatives commended the governor’s visionary leadership, stating the partnership demonstrates Enugu’s appeal as a viable investment destination. This project is set to create opportunities for local entrepreneurs in the water management and infrastructure sectors.
