Delta State Government has reaffirmed its commitment to youth empowerment by introducing new job creation opportunities for thousands of young residents. Announced by the Delta State Job and Wealth Creation Bureau, led by Comrade Ifeanyi Egwuyenga, this initiative aligns with the Oborevwori administration’s M.O.R.E agenda, specifically under the M.O.R.E Business Upscale Programme (M.O.R.E BIZ-UP).
The application window for the M.O.R.E BIZ-UP will open for five days starting October 28, 2024, targeting young entrepreneurs aged 21 to 45. Eligible applicants are required to possess either a Voter’s Card or a National Identification Number (NIN), along with a duly registered business located in Delta State.

This initiative focuses on diverse business categories, including Information and Communication Technologies, building and construction services, handicrafts, personal services, and audio-visual services.
Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, during the appointment of Comrade Egwuyenga as the new Job Creation Officer, emphasized the administration’s dedication to expanding job and wealth creation, particularly for youth entrepreneurs.
