Vice President Kashim Shettima has flagged off the Aliko Dangote Foundation’s Education Scholarship Initiative, a development he also shared on his official X handle.
The Foundation unveiled a ₦100 billion annual education support programme — a ₦1 trillion commitment over the next decade — aimed at strengthening Nigeria’s education sector and expanding access to quality learning for young people.

Speaking at the launch in Lagos, the Vice President praised Dangote’s investment in human capital, noting that education remains a powerful tool for building a productive future workforce.
For SMEs, the initiative signals a major boost, as it will equip young Nigerians with the skills, knowledge, and capacity needed to support innovation, business growth, and enterprise sustainability nationwide.
