Senator Nora Ladi Daduut has lauded Nigeria’s First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, for her dedicated efforts in promoting women’s and girls’ empowerment across the country.

In an interview, Daduut highlighted the First Lady’s commitment since taking office, particularly through the “No Woman No Nation” initiative, which has already empowered numerous women nationwide.

As the first female Senator from Plateau State, Daduut also praised Tinubu for launching a women farmers’ empowerment program in the North Central zone, recently inaugurated in Jos. She commended the First Lady for her swift and effective actions in advancing gender equality and empowering women.

“Our First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, has demonstrated her commitment to gender equality and women’s empowerment within a short period,” Daduut stated. She emphasized Tinubu’s efforts over the past year in improving the educational and economic status of women and girls through various programs.

Daduut stressed the importance of empowering women and girls in education and skills acquisition for sustainable community development and urged support for leaders like Tinubu. She praised the First Lady’s legacy, which she believes will inspire future leaders dedicated to creating a better future for all Nigerians.

She commended Tinubu’s commitment to lifting women out of poverty and enhancing their economic participation, describing her as a “woman of virtue” and a steadfast advocate for national development. Daduut also called on Nigerians to support President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration, noting its determination to improve citizens’ lives.
