The Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) is partnering with Indian professionals and entrepreneurs to streamline company registration processes and attract more investment into Nigeria.
Registrar-General Hussaini Ishaq Magaji, SAN, hosted a delegation led by Rekha Sharma at the CAC headquarters, emphasizing the Commission’s commitment to enhancing its operations.
He highlighted that the CAC oversees over seven million registered businesses and welcomed suggestions to improve its services for foreign and local investors.

Rahi, a key member of the delegation and a Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) conversion investor, urged faster business formation processes for Indian investors, underscoring the potential for deeper collaboration.
The meeting follows Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s recent state visit to Nigeria, where he was awarded the Grand Commander of the Order of the Niger (GCON) by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, signaling strengthened bilateral ties between the two nations.
