The Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) has delisted several companies from its register for failing to file annual returns for over a decade. This action follows a 90-day grace period issued on July 25, during which companies were advised to update their records.
In a statement, the CAC explained that the decision was made under Section 692 (4) of the Companies and Allied Matters Act (CAMA) 2020, which grants the commission the authority to strike off dormant companies.
