Applications are now open for the fourth edition of a national tech competition and incubation program designed to support high-potential Nigerian startups. T
he program, which includes the prestigious Zecathon pitch competition hosted at the annual Zenith Bank Tech Fair, seeks to identify and advance startups working in sectors like fintech, agritech, healthtech, e-commerce, and cybersecurity.
Offering cash prizes totaling ₦77.5 million, the program will reward the top three winners with ₦25 million, ₦20 million, and ₦15 million, respectively, with an additional ₦2.5 million each for the remaining seven finalists.
Beyond cash awards, winners will participate in a six-week incubation program running from December 2024 to February 2025, gaining mentorship, exposure, and strategic partnerships to help drive their business growth.

Dame (Dr.) Adaora Umeoji, OON, Group Managing Director/Chief Executive at Zenith Bank, highlighted the program’s role in supporting Nigeria’s tech ecosystem, stating, “Through Zecathon 4.0, we aim to unlock the potential of visionary entrepreneurs and empower them toward scalable success.”
Eligible Nigerian startups with a registered business and a minimum viable product (MVP) demonstrating market potential are encouraged to apply by November 15, 2024. Shortlisted finalists will be announced on November 18, and they will proceed to the physical pitch competition on November 21, 2024.
