Job Summary

We are willing to hire a competent  and skilled Assistant Land Surveyor who will assist in basic land measurements, data collection, and field operations under the guidance of our licensed surveyor, utilizing surveying equipment to gather information for property boundary determination, construction projects, and mapping, while adhering to standard

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities

Field Data Collection:

• Assist in setting up and operating surveying equipment like total stations, GPS units, and levels to measure distances, angles, and elevations on site.
• Take accurate field notes and readings, recording relevant details about property boundaries and topographical features.
• Mark and identify survey points on the ground using survey markers and flags. 

Data Processing and Analysis:

• Transfer field data into surveying software for calculations and analysis.
• Perform basic mathematical calculations to determine property boundaries and elevations.
• Assist in creating preliminary sketches and maps based on collected data. 

Site Preparation and Support:

• Prepare survey sites by clearing vegetation and identifying access points.
• Assist in setting up survey control points and reference markers.
• Collaborate with other construction team members to ensure accurate project layout. 

Documentation and Reporting:

• Prepare basic survey reports detailing findings, measurements, and any discrepancies encountered.
• Organize and maintain survey records and documentation according to company standards.

Requirements:

• 1 year experience
• Minimum of OND
