Job Summary
The Inventory Officer is responsible for managing, tracking, and organizing event rental inventory, ensuring accurate stock levels, and maintaining the quality of rental items. They will oversee inventory movement, coordinate with warehouse staff, and ensure smooth order fulfillment for events.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
Inventory Management:
- Maintain accurate records of all rental inventory, including furniture, décor, linens, AV equipment, and other event-related items.
- Track inventory levels, conduct regular stock counts, and report discrepancies.
- Implement and maintain inventory control procedures to minimize loss and damage.
- Label and categorize inventory for easy identification and retrieval.
Order Fulfillment & Logistics:
- Prepare and allocate inventory for upcoming events based on client orders and event schedules.
- Ensure timely dispatch and return of rental items, coordinating with delivery teams.
- Inspect items before and after events to assess damages or missing pieces.
- Work closely with the operations and sales team to ensure accurate order processing.
Quality Control & Maintenance:
- Regularly inspect inventory for wear and tear, reporting damaged or defective items.
- Ensure proper cleaning, storage, and maintenance of rental equipment.
- Coordinate with repair vendors for damaged items when necessary.
Reporting & Documentation:
- Maintain inventory databases and generate inventory reports as needed.
- Document missing, broken, or replaced items and report to management.
- Assist in auditing inventory records for accuracy.
Requirements:
- High school diploma required; an associate degree or higher in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of one year experience in inventory management, warehouse operations, or event rentals.
- Proficiency in inventory management software
- Basic knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word) for reporting.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
Location: Ogba, Lagos State.
Remuneration: NGN 75,000
