We are seeking a detail-oriented, thorough, and organized Human Resource Officer to ensure our company attracts, hires, develops and retains skilled and productive employees.

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

• Ensure adequate and competent staff/ workforce in all company business locations at all times.
• Manage the recruitment and talent selection process to align with company culture
• Align onboarding plans to the company’s Mission, Vision, and Core Values
• Develop programmes and initiatives that encourage teamwork and teambuilding as well as staff health and wellbeing.
• Nurture a positive and inclusive work environment for all
• Initiate and encourage a self-learning mindset among the staff/workforce
• Maintain the pay plan and benefits program
• Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances or other issues
• Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation, succession planning, and preservation of human capital
• Manage a performance appraisal and reward system that drives high performance
• Provide weekly, monthly, and quarterly Management reports through appropriate HR Metrics
• Contribute to Customer Relationship Management

Requirements:

• HND or BSC in Human Resources or Organizational Psychology in a related field
• At least 2 years of previous experience in Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) or above.
• Meticulous attention to detail.
• People-oriented and results-driven
• Demonstrable experience with Human Resources metrics
• Full understanding of HR functions and Labor laws
• Knowledge of IT systems and databases
• Negotiation and people management skills
• Relationship Management Skills
