We are seeking an experienced and strategic Head of Accounts to oversee all financial operations and ensure the integrity of our accounting systems. The ideal candidate will provide strong leadership, maintain financial discipline and contribute to the overall growth and financial health of the company.

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, receivable, payroll and general ledger.
• Develop and maintain effective financial systems, policies and procedures.
• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports.
• Manage cash flow, budgeting and forecasting to ensure financial stability.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations, audits and statutory reporting.
• Supervise and mentor members of the accounting team to enhance productivity and performance.
• Liaise with external auditors, tax authorities and financial institutions as required.
• Provide financial insights and strategic recommendations to management.
• Support decision making processes by evaluating financial data and identifying opportunities for improvement.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• ICAN/ACCA
• Minimum of 7 years’ experience in Accounting or Finance role, with at least 3 years in managerial capacity.
• Strong understanding of financial reporting standards, budgeting and internal controls.
• Proficiency in accounting software.
• Excellent leadership, communication and analytical skills.
• High level of integrity and attention to detail.
