Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Administrative/Operations Officer to support the daily administrative and operational functions of the company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth office operations, coordinating logistics, managing inventory records, and supporting management in achieving business goals.

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee general administrative duties including filing, documentation, office supplies management, and record keeping.
  • Support day-to-day operational activities including order processing, inventory tracking, and logistics coordination.
  • Prepare reports, manage data entry, and maintain updated internal databases.
  • Liaise with suppliers, vendors, and logistics partners to ensure timely delivery and service coordination.
  • Monitor and manage stock levels and assist with procurement when necessary.
  • Assist with invoice tracking, petty cash management, and basic bookkeeping tasks.
  • Coordinate internal communications and support interdepartmental processes.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and assist with the implementation of operational procedures.
  • Provide administrative support to senior management as required.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or HND in Business Administration, Management, any area of agribusiness (Agronomy, Crop Production, Soil Science, Agricultural Economics, and Agricultural Engineering, etc).
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a similar administrative/operations role, preferably in any of agribusiness, trading, distribution environments.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving mindset.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
