Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

• Prepare, examine, and analyse financial statements and reports for accuracy and completeness
• Maintain general ledger accounts and ensure timely reconciliation
• Manage accounts payable and receivable processes
• Monitor and forecast financial trends and budgets
• Process monthly, quarterly, and annual closings
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and assist in tax preparation and filing
• Support internal and external audits
• Prepare financial documentation and reports for management and stakeholders
• Assist in the implementation and maintenance of accounting systems and procedures

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• CPA or equivalent certification (preferred but not always required)
• 1-2 years of proven experience as an accountant or in a similar role
• Proficient in accounting software
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

Remuneration: NGN  200,000 (Negotiable)
