The Anambra State Action on Business Enabling Reforms (SABER) Committee, in collaboration with the Anambra State Small Business Agency (ASBA) and the Anambra State Investment Promotion and Protection Agency (ANSIPPA), has announced an upcoming event aimed at supporting Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in the state. Titled “Financing the Future: Expanding Credit Opportunities for SMEs in Anambra State,” the session is set to explore innovative ways to enhance financing options for small businesses.
In an official statement released by ANSIPPA in Awka, the agency emphasized that the initiative reflects the state’s commitment to creating a more business-friendly environment. The event will provide critical insights into increasing access to credit for SMEs, a key factor in driving economic growth in the region.

The program will be held in two parts: a physical event scheduled for October 15, 2024, at the International Convention Center in Awka, followed by a virtual session on October 17, 2024. Both formats are designed to ensure wide accessibility and thorough dissemination of vital information to entrepreneurs and stakeholders in the business community.
This initiative underscores the state’s dedication to empowering local businesses and ensuring that SMEs can thrive through improved access to financial resources.
