The newly elected chairman of Nsit Ubium Local Government Area, Akwa Ibom State, Mr. Alfred Inoyo, has reaffirmed his commitment to boosting agriculture and creating jobs in alignment with Governor Umo Eno’s ARISE agenda.
Speaking to journalists in Uyo on Sunday, Inoyo promised to empower local farmers and entrepreneurs by revolutionizing the agricultural sector.
He plans to increase food production, enhance food security, and generate youth employment through the provision of modern farming equipment, training programs, and agricultural inputs like fertilizers.

Inoyo also emphasized environmental sanitation, revealing plans to establish a committee to maintain roads and drainage systems, creating jobs for residents.
Additionally, the chairman announced plans to establish an educational trust fund to sponsor indigent students and support skill acquisition programs.
“We aim to usher in inclusive leadership and shared prosperity for Nsit Ubium,” he stated.
