The Abuja Enterprise Agency has kicked off its third Financial Literacy and Inclusion Awareness Campaign, aimed at empowering Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) and individuals with essential financial skills.
The campaign is designed to help participants make informed business decisions that enhance financial security and drive business success.
The 3-day event, currently underway, includes market visits across the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), with small and medium business owners actively participating.
The initiative aims to bridge financial knowledge gaps and improve financial management among entrepreneurs.
Mr. Chudi Ugwuada-Ezirigwe, the Managing Director and CEO of the Abuja Enterprise Agency, highlighted the campaign’s achievements since its launch.

Over 150,000 households in the FCT have been sensitized on financial literacy, and 38,127 MSMEs have received business and financial education.
Additionally, approximately 30,000 MSMEs have gained access to grant and loan facilities through various government and private sector interventions.
The campaign will be conducted through diverse channels, including electronic media, social media platforms, roadshows, seminars, and market outreaches. It will also involve strategic partners and stakeholders across the FCT’s six area councils.
Looking ahead, Ugwuada-Ezirigwe emphasized plans to launch the Abuja Business School of Entrepreneurship (ABSE), which will offer programs tailored to the evolving needs of the global entrepreneurial landscape.
