In a strategic move to expand the Aba business community and showcase its potential to a global audience, the Abia State Government has announced the inaugural Aba International Trade Fair, scheduled to take place from November to December 2024.
During a press conference, Chief Nwaka Inem, the Chairman of the planning committee and Special Adviser to the Governor on Trade, Commerce, and Industry, highlighted the significance of the trade fair, calling it a vital platform to broaden the scope, reach, and influence of Aba’s thriving business sector.
“This year’s event is set to make a lasting impression and demonstrate what will continue under the leadership of Governor Alex Otti,” Chief Inem stated. He further explained that the chosen venue, Aba Mega Mall, offers an ideal setting for participants, including businesses from neighboring states and international exhibitors.
To ensure the success of the event, the planning committee has engaged two seasoned consultants, Vivarmark Communication Limited and Global Flourish Exhibitions Limited. Chief Inem praised their selection, citing their expertise, time efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
