The Abia State Government has approved a ₦1 billion support package for about 2,000 small businesses, aimed at easing operational pressures and boosting local enterprise growth ahead of 2026.
The intervention is expected to complement ongoing tax reforms designed to reduce the burden on small businesses, while improving compliance and revenue transparency across the state.
