The Federal Ministry of Livestock Development will recruit 37,000 youth and women across Nigeria’s 36 states and the FCT to scale up commercial livestock production.
Minister Idi Mukhtar Maiha disclosed this during a strategic workshop on the Presidential Initiative on Youth and Women in Livestock Development.

The initiative targets increased employment, empowerment of marginalized groups, and enhanced productivity in the livestock value chain, positioning it as a key driver of national economic growth.
