Finance and Economy Minister Wale Edun revealed that 11,000 Nigerians, including small business owners, have received N3.5 billion under a new consumer credit scheme aimed at easing financial strain.
The initiative, launched to support workers and SMEs, allows beneficiaries to access credit for essentials like Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) kits, enabling more affordable fuel alternatives for business operations.
Addressing the National Economic Council, Edun underscored President Tinubu’s commitment to helping vulnerable populations and fostering an environment where micro-enterprises can thrive.
